About the Role
The role involves undertaking responsibilities independently or under minimal supervision, with work reviewed for sound judgement and accuracy. It requires expertise and supervision across multiple competencies on projects of varying scope and complexity, including measurement of quantities, preparation of tender documentation, viability studies, cost estimates, and cost control procedures. The position also involves providing input for financial claims, evaluating variations and incorporating them into monthly cost reports, preparing, pricing, and negotiating change orders with clients and contractors, and complying with all quality assurance requirements. • Measure quantities for cost plans, estimates, and bills of quantities. • Prepare tender documentation, conduct viability studies, and develop cost estimates. • Implement, maintain, and monitor cost control procedures throughout projects. • Provide input for financial claims and evaluate variations for monthly cost reports. • Prepare, price, and negotiate change orders with clients and contractors. • Ensure compliance with all quality assurance requirements.

What You Bring
Qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Quantity Surveying and/or Engineering (or equivalent) from an accredited, internationally recognized institution, working towards MRICS or equivalent accreditation preferred, and a minimum of five years of relevant experience. • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or Engineering (or equivalent) from an accredited institution. • Working towards MRICS or equivalent accreditation (preferred). • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
