About the Role
Provide on‑site implementation of Power Management and mission‑critical monitoring and control systems, including Power Xpert, Foreseer, PowerNet, and next‑generation platforms. Deliver applied engineering and consultation services covering system integration, installation, start‑up, maintenance, repair, training, and modification of power management, control, and mission‑critical systems. Use modern project‑management tools and techniques to execute engineering, procurement, and construction of electrical power monitoring systems (EPMS). Manage the DIS portion of awarded projects, overseeing electrical equipment design and installation, data‑center equipment, and communication protocols. Plan, establish, maintain, and regularly update project schedules while setting clear cost, quality, and schedule objectives and ensuring successful completion. Develop and maintain effective relationships with customers, support sales with initial and follow‑up quotations, and coordinate with other plants, business units, and external vendors to procure parts and services. Provide direction to field personnel as needed and prepare, distribute, and enforce project safety plans. • Implement on‑site Power Management and mission‑critical monitoring systems (Power Xpert, Foreseer, PowerNet, next‑gen platforms). • Provide engineering consultation for integration, installation, start‑up, maintenance, repair, training, and system modifications. • Manage engineering, procurement, and construction phases of EPMS projects using modern project‑management tools. • Oversee DIS portion of projects, including electrical equipment design, data‑center gear, and communication protocols. • Develop customer relationships, support sales with quotations, and coordinate procurement with internal teams and vendors. • Lead projects from scope development through execution, controlling cost, quality, schedule, and safety. • Direct field personnel and maintain project schedules and safety plans. • Handle service‑type (T&M) and small projects (< $50K) with up to 25% travel outside and 75% within the local region. • Work on customer sites, including industrial plants, requiring climbing and confined‑space entry.

What You Bring
Travel up to 25% outside the local service region and up to 75% within it; be willing to work at customer sites, including industrial plants, which may require climbing, confined‑space entry, and other unusual work environments. Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science) from an accredited institution, legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship, and residence within a 50‑mile radius of the work locations. Candidates need either three years of experience leading large service‑engineering projects of complex scope or seven years working with power‑management, power‑control, mission‑critical, or building‑management systems, plus applied knowledge of EPMS/BMS software and strong commercial, problem‑solving, and negotiation skills. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. • Minimum 3 years leading large service‑engineering projects or 7 years with Power Management, Power Control, Mission‑Critical, or Building Management systems. • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship; reside within 50 mi of listed locations. • Possess applied knowledge of EPMS/BMS software and strong customer‑focus, problem‑solving, negotiation, and commercial skills.
