About the Role
The Maintenance Mechanic supports general operations, inspection, and building maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems at assigned facilities. The role assists the Site Operations Manager and other mechanics, performs interior and exterior repairs, and focuses on maintaining pneumatic guns used in production. • Repair pneumatic guns for Sikorsky production employees. • Perform preventive maintenance, tours, and repair work orders in lab and office facilities. • Conduct facility inspections and report conditions affecting client occupancy. • Carry out interior maintenance and light carpentry tasks. • Perform basic plumbing repairs such as sinks, faucets, and toilets. • Support the operations team with building and equipment maintenance. • Replace lighting fixtures and ballasts. • Clean HVAC coils, replace filters and belts. • Complete hazard assessments and follow PPE requirements. • Follow all safety procedures, maintain housekeeping, and identify hazards. • Complete required safety trainings on schedule. • Manage hazardous material storage, use, and disposal per policy. • Update and close work orders in the web‑based system promptly. • Escalate issues to customers and managers in a timely manner. • Attend work and safety meetings as required.

What You Bring
Candidates need a high‑school diploma or equivalent, pneumatic tool repair knowledge, and 1‑3 years of experience in building repair, pneumatic tool, basic plumbing, and basic electrical work. Proficiency with Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, and web‑based work order systems, along with strong customer service skills, is required. This position does not provide visa sponsorship and applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. • Hold a high school diploma or equivalent. • Possess pneumatic tool repair knowledge and 1‑3 years of building maintenance experience. • Demonstrate basic plumbing and electrical skills. • Proficient with Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, and web‑based work order tools. • Exhibit strong customer service skills.
