About the Role
The Regional Wind Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Manager oversees daily operations and maintenance of Constellation’s wind‑power fleet within a defined region. The role is accountable for budgeting, outage coordination with interconnect entities, and ensuring reliable performance through problem identification, corrective actions, and contractor management. Key duties include ensuring the safety of employees and contractors, maintaining compliance with regulatory and environmental standards, conducting quality audits, troubleshooting turbine issues, and managing relationships with landowners, utilities, and suppliers. The manager also leads the work‑order management process, develops and revises operational procedures, and guarantees safe high‑voltage switching in accordance with Constellation’s lock‑out/tag‑out program. • Oversee daily operations and maintenance of the regional wind turbine fleet. • Develop and manage operating budgets; coordinate outages with interconnect entities, scheduling coordinators, and the trading desk. • Identify reliability issues, implement corrective actions, and track their resolution. • Supervise onsite contractors to ensure compliance with Constellation Wind O&M standards. • Enforce safety protocols for employees and contractors and adhere to regulatory and environmental guidelines. • Conduct maintenance quality audits, troubleshoot turbine problems, and drive fleet‑wide improvement initiatives. • Manage relationships with landowners, utility companies, turbine suppliers, and oversee substation maintenance activities. • Utilize the Work Order Management Process and author, test, and revise operational procedures. • Ensure safe high‑voltage switching at substations and turbine transformer feeds in line with lock‑out/tag‑out (LOTO) requirements. • Maintain required access certifications and pass all mandatory medical examinations.

What You Bring
Candidates must meet one of the following education‑experience combinations: a bachelor’s degree with five years of experience, an associate’s degree with seven years, or a high‑school diploma/GED with nine years in power‑plant operations. They must maintain required access and medical clearances, have experience with electrical generation or controls standards, and be proficient with Microsoft Office. Preferred candidates hold a master’s degree in engineering or a technical discipline and possess direct experience in wind‑plant operations, high‑voltage maintenance, and turbine technology. • Demonstrate strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications. • Preferred: Hold a master’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline. • Preferred: Experience in wind plant operations, turbine technology, and high‑voltage maintenance.
