About the Role

• Low flow assessments and water systems modelling to define water availability during droughts • Estimate future climate variable changes using global or regional projections • Conduct flood hydrology studies incorporating climate change impacts • Perform hydropower feasibility studies, defining design floods and verifying energy generation • Carry out climate change risk assessments of assets or asset portfolios

What You Bring

• Hold a relevant degree (e.g., hydrology, geography, mathematics, civil engineering) • Knowledge of low‑flow hydrology, rainfall‑runoff modelling, and applying UKCP18/CMIP5‑6 climate projections • Demonstrated willingness to innovate • Excellent communication and written skills • Understanding of UK water resources management planning regulatory requirements (desirable) • Experience with water systems modelling tools such as Aquator, WEAP, or Pywr (desirable) • Proficiency in coding or statistical techniques (desirable)
