About the Role
You will take proactive technical and design ownership from project initiation through final sign‑off, ensuring designs meet customer requirements and are delivered on schedule. Responsibilities include marking up detailed design drawings, conducting site surveys, interpreting specifications and updating design deliverables as needed. You will also review RAMS, test plans and installation documents, and provide technical advice across the business. Effective collaboration with internal teams, external stakeholders, suppliers and subcontractors is essential to maintain high quality standards and resolve issues quickly. You will lead design reviews and project meetings, manage customer expectations, and drive continuous improvement and cost‑effectiveness throughout the project lifecycle. • Lead design reviews and project meetings for technical aspects. • Coordinate design activities and ensure on‑time delivery. • Mark up and update detailed design drawings as required. • Conduct site surveys and translate customer specifications into design deliverables. • Review and support RAMS, test plans, and installation documentation. • Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to resolve design issues promptly. • Manage customer expectations and drive high‑quality service delivery. • Apply continuous improvement and cost‑effectiveness throughout project life cycle. • Utilise Microsoft Office and AutoCAD for engineering tasks.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate holds an engineering HNC or degree (electrical or mechanical preferred) and has experience leading design of transmission or distribution projects. Strong communication in English, proficiency with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD, problem‑solving ability, high attention to detail and financial literacy are required. You should be organized, accountable, a team player and able to manage time efficiently. • Demonstrate strong communication, problem‑solving and financial literacy skills.
