About the Role
The Senior Data Analytics Internal Auditor is a senior, highly independent role within the Internal Audit Department, reporting to the Director of IT Audit & Data Analytics. This position leads the internal audit data analytics function and drives advanced analytics, automation, AI‑enabled solutions, and continuous auditing across the department, working closely with internal audit leadership and business stakeholders to embed analytics into audit planning, execution, and reporting. The role offers significant autonomy and influence, allowing the incumbent to shape how data analytics, automation, and continuous auditing are applied to assurance, SOX, and enterprise risk activities. Acting as a trusted data champion, the auditor builds strong relationships with data owners and system leaders to ensure timely, reliable access to data for audit and risk initiatives. • Lead Internal Audit’s data analytics, automation, AI, and continuous auditing initiatives. • Design and execute data‑driven testing of key controls for audit, SOX, and risk projects. • Build advanced analytics solutions and dashboards to provide timely risk insights. • Develop and maintain continuous‑auditing monitoring tools across core platforms (Workday, JD Edwards, Salesforce). • Automate audit procedures to increase efficiency, consistency, and scalability. • Serve as the data champion, promoting responsible data use within assurance and advisory work. • Partner with audit teams to embed analytics into planning, execution, and reporting. • Establish strong relationships with data owners, system custodians, and platform leaders for reliable data access. • Evaluate and recommend analytics tools, technologies, and methodologies to stay current with industry best practices. • Coach and mentor Internal Audit staff on analytics techniques, tools, and best practices. • Manage multiple concurrent initiatives, delivering high‑quality outcomes within scope and timelines. • Respond to ad‑hoc audit, risk, and analytics requests as needed. • Apply Python, R, SQL, and data‑visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) to extract, cleanse, transform, and report data. • Ensure audit solutions adhere to IIA standards and ISACA COBIT framework.

What You Bring
Candidates must have at least five years of progressive experience applying advanced data analytics, automation, and data‑driven control testing in audit, SOX, compliance, or risk environments, along with a bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Computer Science, Data Science, MIS, Accounting, or Finance. Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, data‑visualization tools (e.g., Power BI), and experience with enterprise platforms like Workday, JD Edwards, and Salesforce are required, and professional certifications (CPA, CIA, CISA, etc.) are preferred. • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in data‑analytics‑driven audit, SOX, or risk management. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, MIS, Accounting, Finance or related discipline. • Proficiency in Python, R, SQL and experience across the full data analytics lifecycle. • Experience with enterprise systems such as Workday, JD Edwards, Salesforce for audit data extraction. • Skilled in data‑visualization tools like Power BI to convey insights to senior stakeholders. • Professional certifications (CPA, CIA, CISA, CISSP) or cloud/data analytics credentials preferred. • Strong written and verbal communication ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical audiences. • Ability to work independently while collaborating across audit teams and business units.
