About the Role

The role sits within capital delivery, working with project teams in a collaborative environment and interacting with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. You will be responsible for delivering multiple water and water‑recycling projects under the AMP8 programme, ensuring adherence to the client’s governance procedures, including risk, cost and change control. As the planner you will manage the planning function for allocated projects or tenders, developing, monitoring and controlling robust schedules. You will support medium to high‑complexity projects to be delivered profitably, on time and in line with programme and business objectives, while integrating programme, cost and risk data. • Manage application of planning and scheduling methods, techniques, and tools • Utilize earned value management (EVM) and project controls methodologies • Communicate effectively with clients, project teams, and stakeholders • Influence complex requirements and provide analysis and corrective measures • Direct and manage a team of planning professionals, supporting their development • Persuade clients to accept proposals and recommendations • Perform tasks required to fulfil project or assignment requirements • Collaborate on net‑zero carbon transition, identifying and managing carbon emissions • Integrate programme, cost, and risk data to ensure planning assurance and service excellence
