About the Role
The Foreman will coordinate daily tasks, adjust plans for weather or supply changes, and lead safety meetings for each job activity. They will communicate construction methods, delegate responsibilities, ensure adequate resources and staffing, and promote safe use of tools and equipment. Conflict resolution, regular status reporting, and maintaining a clean, organized work area are also key duties. • Coordinate daily tasks, adjusting for weather, supply, delivery, and personnel changes. • Conduct daily safety meetings for each job activity. • Explain construction methods to crew members. • Delegate responsibilities to crew and contractors. • Provide resources and staffing to meet schedules, regulations, and safety requirements. • Emphasize safe tool and equipment use and train on safety gear and procedures. • Resolve conflicts or miscommunications promptly. • Report project status regularly to supervisors. • Maintain a clean, organized work area and good housekeeping practices. • Think logically and compare site conditions with project designs. • Read blueprints and other project-related documents. • Use email, smartphone, tablet, or computer to manage company information and documents. • Maintain acceptable attendance standards per the employee handbook. • Stay alert to multiple concurrent site activities and equipment movement.

What You Bring
Candidates must communicate effectively with crew members, read blueprints, and think logically about site conditions versus design specifications. Proficiency with digital tools such as email, smartphones, tablets, or computers is required, along with reliable attendance and constant alertness to multiple site activities. At least one year of construction experience on roads, highways, or bridges is needed, and a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. • Communicate effectively with crew members. • Have at least 1 year of construction experience on roads, highways, or bridges. • Possess a high school diploma or secondary education (preferred).
