Job Highlights
About the Role
Drivers operate heavy‑duty trucks equipped with various lift attachments to collect and transport waste, recyclables, or roll‑off containers. Depending on the route, drivers may work residential, commercial, or industrial routes, navigating high‑traffic streets, alleys, and tight overhead environments while performing skilled backing maneuvers. • Operate vehicle in compliance with WM safety rules, OSHA, DOT, and all applicable laws. • Perform pre‑ and post‑trip inspections and complete DVIR documentation. • Report unsafe conditions, incidents, accidents, and service interruptions to Operations Manager or Dispatch. • Attend required trainings, briefings, and meetings. • Collaborate with Operations Manager to improve route efficiency and share best practices. • Communicate customer requests and ensure clean, debris‑free sites after dumping. • Follow assigned routes, complete end‑of‑day paperwork, and assist other drivers as needed. • Lift, push, pull, and handle containers weighing up to 1,000 lb. • Perform backing maneuvers in tight spaces and operate in noisy environments.

The position offers a pay range of $25.50 per hour and a standard Monday‑Friday schedule beginning at 5 a.m. Drivers work full‑time and return home each night, providing stability for themselves and their families.
