What You Bring
NV5 Geospatial is recruiting a Geospatial Solutions Architect to design and implement geospatial visualization solutions integrated with operational dashboards and cloud‑based platforms. The position supports US Southern Command, will be remote, and requires US citizenship and the ability to pass a basic background check. A Secret or TS/SCI clearance is desired. Employment is contingent on a successful background check and drug screening, and while no clearance is required, an active Secret or TS/SCI clearance is preferred. Security clearances are limited to U.S. citizens, and applicants may need to obtain a clearance as a condition of employment. • Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Geospatial Science, or related field, or 5 years equivalent experience. • Proven experience developing GIS solutions with Esri ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar platforms. • Experience integrating geospatial data into cloud‑based applications. • Knowledge of spatial analysis, remote sensing, and geospatial AI/ML applications. • Ability to manage and prioritize complex project tasks. • Preferred: Esri ArcGIS Desktop Associate or GIS Professional (GISP) certification. • Preferred: Portuguese or Spanish language proficiency. • Preferred: Experience with government IT programs and environments. • Preferred: Active Secret or TS/SCI security clearance. • Travel up to 15‑20% of the time.
