About the Role
The role is accountable for planning, scheduling and monitoring assigned projects or tenders, supporting project management to ensure timely and profitable delivery, and leading the application of planning techniques, earned‑value management and project‑control methodologies. It also involves effective communication with clients and stakeholders, influencing complex requirements, leading a team of planning professionals and driving client‑acceptance of proposals. • Plan and schedule allocated projects or tenders. • Ensure effective planning, scheduling, and monitoring throughout delivery. • Support project management to meet time and profit targets. • Lead application of planning, scheduling methods, and earned‑value management. • Communicate analysis and corrective measures to clients, teams and stakeholders. • Manage and develop a team of planning and schedule‑management professionals. • Influence client decisions to accept proposals and recommendations. • Perform tasks required to fulfill project and assignment requirements. • Deliver programmes or portfolios exceeding $1 billion in value. • Maintain professional membership (APM, RICS, CIOB, ICE, AACE, IRM, IEMA). • Lead large, diverse teams and manage senior stakeholder relationships.

What You Bring
Candidates should be familiar with New York transit agencies (PANYNJ, NJT, MTA, LIRR, Amtrak), hold a relevant engineering or construction‑management degree or comparable experience, and have a strong background in heavy civil programmes, tunnelling and FTA projects. Experience delivering programmes valued over $1 billion, professional membership in bodies such as APM, RICS or ICE, and proven leadership of large, diverse teams are essential. The position offers a starting salary of $140,000–$180,000 and Mace welcomes applicants from diverse backgrounds. • Demonstrate familiarity with NY transit agencies (PANYNJ, NJT, MTA, LIRR, Amtrak). • Hold an engineering, construction‑management degree or equivalent industry experience. • Possess experience in heavy civil programmes, tunnelling and FTA projects. • Exhibit strong commercial, financial and sustainability expertise.
