About the Role

The Senior Geotechnical Engineer will plan and prepare geotechnical investigations or design activities that significantly impact major programs, participate in marketing efforts for internal and external clients, and organize and manage investigations for transportation and other projects. This role also includes performing technical analyses, preparing reports, coordinating recommendations with designers, acting as a Technical Specialist or Project Manager on large projects, supervising staff, and handling other duties as needed. • Plan and prepare geotechnical investigations or design activities for major company programs. • Participate in marketing efforts for internal and external clients. • Organize, conduct, and manage geotechnical investigations for transportation and other projects. • Perform technical analyses, prepare reports, and coordinate recommendations with designers. • Serve as Technical Specialist or Project Manager on large projects as needed. • Supervise professionals, technicians, and design teams.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree required. • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience. • Professional Engineer (PE) license required. • Proficient with Microsoft Office, GIS, and CADD applications. • Experience with GeoStudio/Ensoft and Bentley geotechnical software (gINT/OpenGround/LeapFrog). • Knowledge of advanced numerical modeling techniques (Finite Difference, Finite Element, Discrete Element) and related software (Bentley, PLAXIS, Itasca FLAC).
