About the Role

The Senior IT Auditor is responsible for evaluating the design and effectiveness of information‑technology controls in line with corporate security standards, SOX, COBIT, NIST, and ISO. The role manages audit projects, remediation plans, and risk‑mitigation activities across Lennar Technology Services. Key duties include conducting internal IT audits and control self‑testing, assessing the control environment, and recommending enhancements. The auditor acts as a subject‑matter expert, researches emerging governance trends, builds corrective action plans, validates remediation, and reports KPI on issue‑closure rates. Collaboration with the Enterprise Security Office and mentorship of junior staff are also essential. • Perform internal IT audits and control self‑testing to verify design and operating effectiveness. • Assess and enhance the IT control environment, producing corrective action plans for identified weaknesses. • Serve as SME on SOX, COBIT, NIST, ISO, and related security standards. • Track and report key performance indicators on audit issue resolution and control‑weakness closure. • Coordinate security‑related testing and remediation with the Enterprise Security Office. • Mentor junior auditors and influence integration of business strategy with risk management. • Lead small‑scale projects, ensuring requirements, timelines, and solution alignment with IT strategy. • Apply full SDLC activities, including configuration, data mapping, test development, and user training. • Maintain expertise in cloud security, governance, ITIL service management, and emerging industry regulations. • Provide level‑3 support and advise stakeholders on technical solutions and control designs.

What You Bring

Technical expertise required spans cloud computing security, governance, service management, and the ITIL framework. The auditor must apply full system development lifecycle practices—solution configuration, data mapping, testing, and training—while leading small projects and providing level‑3 support. Strong communication, stakeholder management, and a collaborative mindset are critical. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree (or certification), at least eight years of technical audit or governance experience, and hands‑on knowledge of SOX, COBIT, NIST, and ISO audits. Preferred credentials include CCSP and Microsoft Azure Fundamentals or Solution Architect certifications. Regular in‑person attendance at company offices is required. • Required: Bachelor’s degree, 8+ years technical audit/governance experience, proficiency with SOX/COBIT/NIST/ISO audits. • Preferred: CCSP, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, Microsoft Azure Solution Architect certifications. • Physical requirement: regular in‑person attendance at Lennar offices during normal work hours.
