About the Role
In this role you will act as a trusted advisor to channel partners, consultants, contractors, and end users across multiple market segments, influencing the design of small to large electrical distribution systems. Solution sales include both stocked merchandise and engineered‑to‑order equipment such as low‑voltage and medium‑voltage distribution, motor control, power switching, digital power, automation, services, and power monitoring. You will connect partners to Schneider’s latest offers, applications, and tools to help them achieve their commercial goals. Regular consultation with channel management, sales teams, engineers, C‑level executives, and purchasing professionals will raise awareness of Schneider innovations in the market. You will collaborate with inside‑sales specialists, quotation experts, project managers, account managers, business development, services, and supply‑chain teams to deliver solutions that meet customer needs. Interpreting electrical plans, specifications, and contract terms enables you to develop winning proposals. The role also drives market strategy and demand generation through multi‑layered account plans, pricing, promotions, and joint sales activities, serving as the primary interface for channel partners. What You Bring
The ideal candidate has at least three years of relevant sales experience, preferably in electrical distribution or energy management, and a bachelor’s degree in engineering, technology, business, or equivalent experience. Advanced expertise in low‑voltage and medium‑voltage distribution equipment, especially Square D products, and a strong background in consultative sales methodologies are required. Ability to build relationships with C‑suite executives and to engage cross‑functional teams for complex software and digital solutions is essential. Familiarity with Schneider’s software, cloud analytics, and services to support customers’ digital and sustainability goals is a plus. • Minimum 3 years of relevant sales experience, preferably in electrical distribution or energy management. • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Business, or equivalent experience. • Proven ability to build relationships with C‑suite executives. • Knowledge of low‑voltage and medium‑voltage distribution equipment, including Square D products. • Experience with consultative sales methodologies and complex software engagements. • Strong communication skills for interacting with consultants, contractors, and facility engineers.
