About the Role
In this role you will lead and manage ODCS capability delivery activities, ensuring they align with Defence operational requirements and program timelines. You will prepare and review comprehensive pre‑Gate 2 documentation, including business cases, risk assessments and technical reports, and apply strong knowledge of ASDEFCON complex procurement processes to support contract and acquisition planning. Collaboration with stakeholders to integrate SATCOM requirements and producing high‑quality Gate 2 submission documents that comply with the ODCS/Capability Life Cycle framework are also key responsibilities. • Lead and manage ODCS capability delivery aligned with defence requirements and timelines. • Prepare and review pre‑Gate 2 documentation such as business cases, risk assessments and technical reports. • Apply ASDEFCON procurement expertise to support contract and acquisition planning. • Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate SATCOM requirements into defence projects. • Produce high‑quality Gate 2 submissions compliant with the ODCS/Capability Life Cycle framework.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in ODCS capability delivery and pre‑Gate 2 documentation, a solid understanding of ASDEFCON procurement processes, and the ability to produce detailed Gate 2 submissions. Familiarity with the ODCS and Capability Life Cycle frameworks is essential, while knowledge of SATCOM systems in a defence context is desirable. You must hold, and be able to maintain, at least a Negative Vetting 1 security clearance, with possible ITAR compliance requirements. • Demonstrated experience in ODCS capability delivery and pre‑Gate 2 documentation. • Strong familiarity with complex ASDEFCON procurement processes. • Ability to author detailed Gate 2 submission documents. • Understanding of ODCS and Capability Life Cycle frameworks. • Desirable knowledge of SATCOM systems in a defence context. • Current Negative Vetting 1 (or higher) security clearance; possible ITAR compliance. • Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to high‑quality outcomes.
