What You Bring
The Health and Safety Apprentice role is based on‑site in Scarborough and is part of a UK Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship Programme with a salary of £20,000. The apprentice will support the SERE team in promoting and maintaining a safe, compliant working environment while working towards a recognized HSE qualification. Applicants must hold a minimum of five GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade 4 or above, including maths, English and a science subject. No previous experience is required, but strong interest in health, safety and environmental management is essential. • Essential skills: interest in HSE, strong communication and teamwork, attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, basic literacy and numeracy. • Desirable attributes: proactive, organizational, basic IT, understanding of UK HSE regulations, interest in sustainability. • Minimum education: 5 GCSEs grade 4+ (including maths, English, science). • No prior experience required. • Visa sponsorship is not available for this apprenticeship.
