About the Role
As a CNC/ACME/Tool & Die Machinist you will set up, operate, and maintain CNC and ACME equipment to produce machined parts that meet blueprint specifications while adhering to strict safety and quality standards. In this role you will plan operation sequences, work from drawings and route sheets, verify material size with micrometers, calipers, and gauges, and move materials as needed. You will also install safety devices, report faulty equipment, complete quality checks and production documentation, and maintain a clean, orderly work area. • Set up and operate CNC, ACME, and Tool & Die equipment according to blueprints. • Plan operation sequences and verify material dimensions with precision measuring tools. • Perform quality checks, complete production documentation, and report equipment issues. • Install safety devices, follow all safety rules, and keep the work area tidy.

What You Bring
You should have knowledge of manufacturing processes, experience reading blueprints or work instructions, and be proficient with hand and power tools. Prior experience in a light‑industrial environment is preferred, and you must be able to work in a fast‑paced, multitasking setting to meet deadlines. The position involves variable conditions such as temperature changes, noise above 85 dB, and exposure to dust or grease. Safety hazards include mechanical parts, sharp objects, and heavy machinery, requiring the use of PPE, good vision and hearing, and the ability to stand up to eight hours, lift 35 lb regularly and occasionally handle loads of 75 lb or more. • Apply knowledge of manufacturing processes and read work instructions or blueprints. • Use hand and power tools effectively; prior light‑industrial experience preferred. • Meet physical demands: stand up to 8 hours, lift 35 lb regularly, occasional lifts of 75 lb.
