About the Role
• Repair and replace ADA operators, manual/swing doors, door closers, pivot assemblies, panic hardware, hollow‑metal, storefront, and automatic folding, swing, and sliding doors. • Service various door control devices and equipment in commercial settings. • Perform carpentry work for partition framing with metal or wood studs and install doors and windows. • Conduct preventative maintenance on automatic and commercial doors, hardware, and emergency exit devices. • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting time constraints. • Maintain a positive, professional attitude and provide excellent customer service.

What You Bring
The current opening is for an Automatic Door Service Technician who will service a wide range of automatic, swing, sliding and folding doors. The role involves repairing and replacing ADA operators, door closers, pivot assemblies, panic hardware, and related hardware on commercial storefronts and hollow‑metal doors. Technicians must be able to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment. Candidates must have at least two years of experience installing or servicing automatic doors and a strong mechanical aptitude. Carpentry skills for partition framing with metal or wood studs and door/window installation are required, as is a clean driving record for company vehicles. A positive, professional attitude and the ability to manage multiple projects under time constraints are essential. AAADM certification is preferred, and familiarity with manufacturers such as Horton, Stanley, Record USA, Besam and Assa Abloy is considered a plus. The ideal applicant demonstrates thorough knowledge of commercial door hardware, preventative maintenance procedures, and emergency exit devices. • Work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment. • Minimum 2 + years experience as an automatic door installer or service technician. • AAADM certification (preferred). • Strong mechanical aptitude and carpentry skills. • Clean driving record for operating company vehicles. • Ability to prioritize and handle several projects under deadline pressure. • Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
