About the Role
The Los Angeles office seeks a Supervising Electrical Engineer I to provide senior technical leadership and oversee the delivery of complex engineering projects. In this role, the engineer will guide multidisciplinary teams, ensure design quality, and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships. • Act as Engineer of Record on assigned projects. • Lead and facilitate coordination meetings and supervise engineering staff. • Establish and enforce design standards, specifications, and criteria. • Direct system design, project engineering, and construction administration tasks (field reports, RFIs, bulletins, addenda). • Manage project budgets, schedules, and monthly invoicing in collaboration with accounting. • Prepare proposals, contracts, and service agreements for clients. • Conduct periodic employee evaluations and mentor junior engineers. • Participate in firmwide expert teams, budgeting, and scheduling initiatives. • Perform analysis and reporting of system options and building conditions. • Participate in dynamic Employee Resource Groups supporting diversity and inclusion.

What You Bring
• Hold a current PE license with healthcare design experience. • Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution. • Bring at least 12 years of consulting MEP experience, including 3 years of supervisory responsibility. • Demonstrate hands‑on design expertise using CAD/Revit. • Have project experience with critical facilities, commercial, or aviation sectors.
