About the Role

• Inspect and evaluate wastewater treatment system operations and treatment trains to identify opportunities for upgrades and optimization. • Participate in remedial actions and remediation system operations, including, in-situ chemical oxidation, bioremediation, vacuum enhanced fluid recovery (VEFR), soil vapor extraction and air sparging. • Maintain a billable utilization target. • Work with senior engineers to scope and implement pre-design investigations and pilot tests for remediation projects. • Work with project teams to write and review technical documents, reports and engineering designs, ensuring quality and consistent delivery of materials. • Participate in and perform filed activities related to environmental investigations, including logging soil borings, collecting groundwater samples and air samples. • Perform Quality Analysis/Quality Control of deliverables related to projects and tasks managed, as well as projects and tasks managed by others, and are responsible for implementation of the firms' quality procedures at project and task levels.

What You Bring

• 2-5 years' experience with remediation engineering/consulting firms. • Experience writing and reviewing technical documents, reports and engineering designs, ensuring quality and consistent delivery of materials • Bachelor's degree in environmental or civil engineering. • Interface well with and develop a rapport and positive relationship with our clients and employees. • Proficiency with MS Office programs and drafting software. • OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification, including current annual refresher • In-field experience performing remediation work at industrial Sites. • Remediation system construction oversight, operation and maintenance experience. • OSHA 8-hour HAZWOPER Supervisor certification • Work well with dynamic project teams solving problems related to remediation and wastewater treatment. • Technical project expertise in environmental investigations, remediation, environmental compliance. • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check, drug screen and motor vehicle records check.
