About the Role
You will join AECOM’s rapidly growing Town Planning team, collaborating with environmental impact assessors, engineers and project managers on regional and national developments. The team’s inclusive culture values client focus, high‑quality work and continuous professional growth. • Coordinate and deliver major development applications across multi‑disciplinary teams. • Provide planning advice on consent requirements and permitted development rights. • Prepare Planning Statements, Design and Access Statements and manage submissions. • Liaise with local planning authorities and negotiate with key stakeholders. • Support commercial tender preparation and conduct planning feasibility research.

What You Bring
• Hold a degree in Town Planning or a related discipline (desirable). • Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) or equivalent (desirable). • Proven experience preparing and submitting planning applications. • Strong knowledge of English planning policy and legislation. • Demonstrate commercial awareness and clear, concise written communication. • Exhibit client focus, collaborative approach and high commitment to quality.
