About the Role
Reporting to senior leadership, the Project Manager will act as the primary client liaison, overseeing contract administration, project planning, financial control, technical delivery, change management, and coordination of subcontractors. The position also involves business development activities such as proposal preparation and expanding relationships with existing and new clients. • Build and maintain project schedules, managing resources, budgets, and risk. • Plan and execute field investigations for hydraulic structures and embankments. • Coordinate communication among multidisciplinary teams on dam projects. • Conduct quality reviews of engineering deliverables, including calculations, reports, drawings, and specifications. • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineering staff. • Travel to project sites on a part‑time basis as required. • Complete Managing AECOM Projects training to obtain Project Manager certification.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with at least six years of relevant experience, be a licensed Professional Engineer (or pass the PE exam within six months), and possess a valid U.S. driver’s license and citizenship. Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree, experience with dam rehabilitation or new design, leadership of multidisciplinary teams, and proficiency in project management and engineering software. • Hold a B.S. in Civil Engineering with 6+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent). • Licensed Professional Engineer in at least one state or pass the PE exam within six months of hire. • Maintain a valid U.S. driver’s license and pass AECOM’s motor‑vehicle records review. • U.S. citizenship is required. • Preferred: Master’s degree, experience with dam rehabilitation/design, and leadership of multidisciplinary teams. • Proficient with Power BI, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, Procore, and e‑Builder. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
