About the Role
Reporting to the Sr. Director of Compliance Audit Services, the Manager oversees auditor training, coordinates and implements audit procedures, and ensures independent and objective environmental, health & safety, and transportation compliance reviews of company operations. Key responsibilities include supervising a team of up to six full‑time audit staff, conducting compliance audits, reviewing audit reports and corrective actions, providing training and performance evaluations, developing audit schedules, assigning staff to environmental, safety and DOT audit assignments, and continuously improving audit tools and training materials. • Supervise and direct audit staff on standard practices. • Conduct environmental, safety, and DOT compliance audits. • Review audit reports, corrective actions, and ensure regulatory adherence. • Provide training, coaching, and performance evaluations for auditors. • Develop audit schedules and assign staff to audit assignments. • Improve audit tools, training materials, and organize resources for audits. • Maintain knowledge of EPA, OSHA, and DOT regulations.

What You Bring
The role requires direct supervision of full‑time employees, with indirect supervision of additional staff, and demands extensive knowledge of Federal EPA, state environmental, OSHA, and DOT regulations. Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in a related scientific field, at least seven years of relevant experience, preferred Certified Professional Auditor credential, proven employee management skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office, strong interpersonal and communication abilities, and the capacity to work collaboratively across diverse teams. The position involves up to 60% travel, occasional physical effort handling objects under 30 pounds, and exposure to typical field conditions; the primary work setting is an office with required field visits. Benefits
