About the Role

The Transmission Project Manager General role involves planning and managing small to medium or large routine projects, coordinating professional staff, establishing client relations, and ensuring compliance with governing agencies. The position also includes financial tracking, collaboration with business/accounting managers and company leadership, and other duties as needed. • Plan and manage small‑to‑medium single‑discipline and large routine projects. • Coordinate professional staff throughout project development. • Establish client relationships and participate in marketing, contractual, design, and production meetings. • Lead compliance reviews with governing agencies. • Conduct design development work sessions and prepare contract documents. • Manage workload to ensure on‑schedule document completion. • Track project finances and adjust team effort to meet schedule and budget constraints. • Collaborate with Business/Accounting Manager, Project Controller, and Department Manager for project reviews.

What You Bring

Preferred qualifications include relevant licenses or certifications such as PMP and PE. Required qualifications are a bachelor's degree in a related field, at least seven years of experience with two years in project management, strong communication and organizational skills, and a commitment to HDR’s employee‑owned culture. • Hold relevant license or certification (e.g., PMP, PE). • Possess a bachelor’s degree in a related field. • Bring at least seven years of relevant experience, including two years of project management. • Demonstrate strong interaction, organizational, project management, and written/verbal communication skills.
