About the Role
The primary purpose of this position is to coordinate daily operational activities and support project management efforts. You will help implement company policies and procedures while addressing customer and client issues. Key responsibilities include aligning projects and material flow with production and shipping schedules, setting priorities that meet departmental needs, and providing administrative assistance such as phone coverage, travel arrangements, and reporting. You will communicate with customers about scheduling, status, and technical matters, and ensure daily operations comply with all applicable policies and regulations. The role also involves reviewing documentation, planning fabrication steps, estimating labor and material costs, and establishing priorities based on capacity and program deadlines. Interaction with external vendors and a broad range of internal staff—including supervisors, customers, and fabrication personnel—is essential to facilitate work planning, resolve technical issues, manage rework, and address special requirements. • Coordinate daily operations and align projects with production and shipping schedules. • Set priorities based on departmental requirements and program deadlines. • Provide administrative support including phone coverage, travel arrangements, and reporting. • Communicate with customers regarding scheduling, status updates, and technical issues. • Ensure compliance with company, local, state, and federal policies and regulations. • Review documentation, estimate labor/materials, and plan fabrication steps. • Liaise with external vendors and internal staff to facilitate work planning and resolve issues.

What You Bring
The position is based in a comfortable indoor setting with minimal unpleasant conditions. Most of the time is spent sitting, standing, or walking, and occasional lifting of moderate weight (8‑20 lb) may be required. No travel is needed. A high school diploma or GED is strongly preferred, along with 0‑2 years of relevant experience. Candidates should be able to handle the physical demands of the role. • Required: high school diploma or GED (preferred) and 0‑2 years of related experience. • Physical ability to lift 8‑20 lb and sit/stand for extended periods; no travel required.
