About the Role
The Team Lead assists the Supervisor in coordinating, facilitating, and motivating all assigned employees to exceed established High-5 metrics and goals, including safety, quality, delivery, cost, lean, and efficiency. They lead by example in areas such as safety, ethical standards, attendance, urgency, teamwork, initiative, quality assurance, standard work, 5S, product knowledge, attitude, communication, and professional presence. Work assignments are received from the Supervisor and prioritized based on order urgency. The Team Lead communicates daily production goals to the functional team, provides motivation and encouragement, and ensures that manufacturing staff are aware of production, safety, and quality objectives. They collaborate directly with the team to execute customer orders efficiently, fulfilling the most urgent orders first, while maintaining a clean, organized, and orderly work area in accordance with 5S standards. On-the-job training and skill development are provided to individuals, teams, and product groups, and the Team Lead serves as a resource for specific skill training as needed. They collect and evaluate production data such as cycle time, green-light time, parts output, and material utilization, measuring and communicating team and individual performance against expectations. Continuous quality checks are performed to ensure products meet requirements, and quality objectives are promoted by clarifying standards and goals. The role includes active participation in self-development activities such as coursework, certifications, and additional training, as well as contributing to continuous-improvement initiatives that support departmental and plant goals. Attendance at Tier 1 and Tier 2 production meetings, data entry, automated posting functions, and involvement in projects or special assignments are also required. • Assist supervisor in coordinating and motivating assigned employees to meet High-5 metrics. • Lead by example in safety, ethics, attendance, urgency, teamwork, and quality standards. • Prioritize work assignments based on order urgency and communicate daily production goals. • Motivate the manufacturing team and ensure awareness of production, safety, and quality objectives. • Execute customer orders efficiently, fulfilling the most urgent orders first. • Maintain a clean, organized work area following 5S principles. • Provide on-the-job training and develop employee skills across teams and product groups. • Collect and evaluate production data (cycle time, output, material utilization) to measure performance. • Perform continuous quality checks and promote clear quality standards. • Pursue self-development activities such as coursework, certifications, and additional training. • Attend Tier 1 and Tier 2 production meetings and complete required data entry tasks. • Participate in projects and special assignments as needed.

What You Bring
Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, at least two years of manufacturing experience or an electronics/electrical certification, apprenticeship, or degree, and two to five years of electrical testing experience in a manufacturing environment. Candidates must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), possess basic electrical knowledge, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to read wiring schematics, blueprints, and GD&T documents. Bilingual English/Spanish capability is required, and applicants must reside within 50 miles of the El Paso, TX facility. • Communicate individual and team performance against expectations. • Hold a high school diploma or equivalent and at least two years of manufacturing experience or relevant certification. • Possess 2‑5 years of electrical testing experience in a manufacturing setting. • Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel). • Show basic electrical knowledge, mechanical aptitude, and ability to read schematics, blueprints, and GD&T. • Be bilingual in English and Spanish. • Reside within 50 miles of the El Paso, TX facility.
