Job Highlights
About the Role
• Plan, program and coordinate projects with the Project Manager to meet budget, schedule and quality targets. • Manage civil engineering design and project management from feasibility through construction support for water and wastewater infrastructure. • Produce engineering drawings, reports, presentations and regulatory or funding agency applications. • Develop conceptual, preliminary and detailed designs, including calculations, models, site plans, utility profiles, grading plans and related documentation. • Prepare engineering proposals, change orders and client communications for specific projects. • Coordinate technical activities across disciplines and act as liaison between senior engineers and design teams. • Ensure technical outputs meet scope, safety and quality standards, verified by independent review. • Participate in Stantec information‑sharing networks and knowledge forums. • Contribute to proposal and bid development, preparing required proposal materials. • Connecting employees through the Developing Professionals Group.

What You Bring
Our Water Group offers terrific opportunities for senior civil engineers experienced in delivering water infrastructure solutions. You will work with a diverse team that designs with community in mind, delivering program and project excellence for water clients in metropolitan, regional and remote contexts. The workload focuses on water supply and sewerage schemes with key authorities in New South Wales, and the team operates across the APAC region. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (or equivalent). • Possess chartered status or be working towards chartership. • Have 6+ years of consulting or engineering experience. • Bring previous experience in the water industry. • Demonstrated design experience in water and wastewater projects. • Strong technical expertise in potable water supply, gravity and pumped sewerage, and recycled water networks. • Experience with water and wastewater treatment plants for regional or urban authorities (desirable). • Skilled at engaging diverse clients and stakeholders, including local authorities and government bodies.
