About the Role
As a technical lead, the engineer will design and develop high‑voltage circuit breakers, applying a strong background in thermal and fluid dynamics, analytical techniques, and project management while using state‑of‑the‑art design methods. Key duties include contributing to new product and core component development, performing CFD analysis with in‑house or commercial solvers, carrying out heat‑transfer and flow calculations, creating mechanical designs, and preparing design documentation such as development reports and test instructions. The role also involves DFMEA, DOE, PPAP activities, root‑cause analysis, cross‑functional coordination, and ensuring compliance with external and internal regulations. • Lead design and development of high‑voltage circuit breakers. • Develop mechanical designs, assembly and test instructions, and related documentation. • Conduct DFMEA, DOE, PPAP and root‑cause analyses. • Ensure compliance with IEC standards and internal/external regulations. • Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders in a global environment.

What You Bring
Candidates should hold a B.Tech or M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with a design focus and have 4‑5 years of relevant experience. Experience in circuit‑breaker design, proficiency with Creo CAD, hands‑on use of Ansys Fluent for CFD, and familiarity with design quality tools (DFMEA, DFM, DFA, DMAIC, DOE) and IEC standards are required. The ability to work globally, innovate, and communicate fluently in English is essential. • Perform CFD analysis and heat‑transfer/flow calculations using Ansys Fluent. • Hold B.Tech/M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (design) with 4‑5 years experience. • Proficient in Creo CAD, CFD tools, and design quality methodologies. • Demonstrate strong analytical, project‑management, and innovative problem‑solving skills. • Excellent spoken and written English proficiency.
