About the Role
The Instrument Foreman position is a maintenance role with no per‑diem compensation, responsible for supervising crews and ensuring proper installation, repair, maintenance, and calibration of electronic equipment and gauges that control mechanical systems. Core functions involve inspecting and testing a range of instruments, performing calibrations—including safety‑instrumented systems—and documenting changes through schematics and reports. • Inspect, test, adjust, and repair electric, electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic instruments • Perform SIS instrument calibrations and analyze devices such as pH probes, LEL detectors, and CO monitors • Install, loop‑check, fit, bend, and lubricate instrument tubing • Record calibrations, parts used, and maintain inventory • Prepare schematic drawings, sketches, and change reports

What You Bring
Candidates must bring substantial instrumentation experience, the ability to interpret technical drawings, and competence in working with various pressure tubing and piping, while complying with all company and project policies. The job requires frequent physical activity such as standing, walking, bending, and lifting, as well as work at heights up to 300 ft with appropriate fall protection and mandatory personal protective equipment. Required certifications include NCCER Industrial Instrument Technician and NCCER Plus, alongside a valid driver’s license and current TWIC card; Zachry promotes a safe, drug‑free, equal‑opportunity workplace. • Minimum 5 years instrumentation experience • Ability to read and interpret blueprints • Experience with low and high pressure tubing/piping systems • Own tools and proficiency with precision instruments • Current TWIC card and valid driver’s license • Lift/move up to 50 lb; frequent standing, walking, bending, squatting • Work at heights up to 300 ft with fall protection • Wear required PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, harness, face shield, ear plugs, goggles) • Hold NCCER Industrial Instrument Technician and NCCER Plus certifications
