About the Role
The Mechatronics & Robotics Technician will support the Operations Maintenance team by repairing and maintaining material‑handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building. The position also includes installing, maintaining, and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment, as well as mentoring junior technicians to help them grow. Daily tasks include promoting a safe work environment, completing preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation, and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical problems on material‑handling equipment such as belts, motors, photo‑eyes, and relays. The technician will track and store inventory, maintain positive relationships across the facility, and be prepared to lift up to 49 lb, stand or walk for up to 12‑hour shifts, and travel up to 20 % of the time. • Support Operations Maintenance by repairing and maintaining material handling and pneumatic systems. • Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment. • Mentor junior technicians to develop their skills. • Perform preventative maintenance with proper documentation. • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on MHE such as belts, motors, sensors, and relays. • Track and store inventory while maintaining positive relationships across the facility.

Preferred credentials include an associate or higher degree in mechanical or electrical fields, experience with automated conveyor systems, blueprint and schematic reading, CMMS, and robotic or electromechanical operation and maintenance. • Lift up to 49 lb, stand or walk for up to 12‑hour shifts, and travel up to 20 % of the time. • Required: High school diploma or equivalent and 2+ years experience in MHE repair and predictive/preventative maintenance. • Preferred: Associate degree in mechanical/electrical, experience with automated conveyors, blueprint and schematic reading, CMMS, and robotic/electromechanical maintenance.
