About the Role

The Survey Crew Hand will operate conventional and GPS survey equipment, set up total stations, and accurately gather survey data to support land development, transportation, utility, and energy projects. Responsibilities also include locating property corners using various references, performing line work, and following both written and verbal instructions from crew chiefs. • Operate conventional and GPS survey equipment to measure topographic and boundary features. • Set up and use total stations for accurate data collection. • Locate property corners using pin finders, deeds, plats, or legal descriptions. • Perform line work and follow written or verbal instructions from crew chiefs. • Maintain a clean driving record and transport equipment up to 75 lb to job sites. • Perform physical tasks such as sitting, standing, walking, pulling and pushing. • Ensure high attention to detail and accuracy with minimal error.

What You Bring

Candidates must have a clean driving record, be able to carry up to 75 lb of equipment, and perform physical tasks such as sitting, standing, walking, pulling and pushing. Strong attention to detail, simple math skills, a high school diploma or equivalent, and legal authorization to work in the United States are required.
