About the Role
KBR maintains and manages Army prepositioned stocks at the Army Field Support Battalion – Charleston land site and aboard ship, overseeing logistics and maintenance operations. The APS‑3 program, executed from Goose Creek, supports the Army’s power‑projection doctrine by providing maintenance of APS‑3 stocks (Classes II, IIIP, IV, VII, IX) to ensure unit sets aboard vessels remain ready. KBR also delivers limited maintenance and supply support aboard ship and logistical support for other Army programs as required by contract. The role is part of the APS‑3 program, which enables the U.S. Army’s pre‑positioned stocks to provide materiel power projection worldwide. These strategically positioned resources augment strategic airlift and sealift capabilities during contingency operations, ensuring stocks are maintained and deployable at a moment’s notice. The incumbent provides administrative or secretarial support to a department and/or manager, performing general clerical, receptionist, and project‑based work. Duties may be tailored to specific functions such as Procurement or Engineering but remain primarily administrative, following standard procedures under close supervision and supporting overall business operations. • Provide administrative/secretarial support, including clerical, reception, and project‑based tasks. • Assist specific functions such as Procurement or Engineering as needed. • Follow standard office procedures under close supervision to complete defined tasks. • Support general business operations through administrative activities. • Work in indoor and outdoor non‑climate‑controlled environments; no remote work, no per diem, no relocation.

What You Bring
Candidates must be U.S. citizens with a valid passport, capable of obtaining a Common Access Card, and hold a state driver’s license. At least two years of directly related experience, strong oral and written communication skills, and excellent attention to detail are required. Physical requirements include standing 2‑3 hours, walking 4‑5 hours, lifting 35‑50 lb periodically, and occasional squatting, kneeling, bending, reaching, and climbing; work is performed in both indoor and outdoor non‑climate‑controlled environments. This is not a remote position and offers no per diem, uplift, or relocation. • U.S. citizen with a valid passport and ability to obtain a Common Access Card. • Hold a valid state driver’s license and at least 2 years of related experience. • Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills and meticulous attention to detail. • Physical: stand 2‑3 hours, walk 4‑5 hours, lift 35‑50 lb periodically, and squat/kneel/bend/reach/climb as required.
