About the Role
The engineer will lead projects across existing turbine fleets and new product initiatives, oversee mechanical design and durability activities, and ensure integration with aero and thermal teams. Responsibilities include 3‑D part modeling, hand calculations, tolerance analysis, GD&T definition, supplier qualification, BOM management in PLM, and finite‑element analyses for thermal‑structural performance and failure prediction. • Lead aeroderivative gas turbine projects for existing fleets and new products. • Own mechanical design tasks, including 3‑D modeling, hand calculations, and tolerance stack‑up. • Define and manage geometric tolerances and GD&T documentation. • Qualify suppliers and oversee BOM and configuration control within PLM. • Perform thermal and structural FEM analyses, both static and dynamic. • Conduct failure analyses (HCF, LCF) and support component qualification testing. • Coordinate global engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and supply‑chain teams. • Facilitate cross‑functional technical discussions and design reviews. • Manage outsourced engineering work and condition‑based maintenance activities. • Provide advanced technical training and mentor team members.

What You Bring
A master’s or bachelor’s degree in mechanical, machine design, or aerospace engineering and at least nine years of relevant experience are required. Proficiency with NX (Unigraphics), Teamcenter, ANSYS (Classic, Workbench, Topology Optimization) and strong knowledge of GD&T, documentation, and supply‑chain processes are essential. Candidates must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication in English and possess solid engineering fundamentals and teamwork skills.
