About the Role
The Security Associate role involves protecting the property and guests through regular inspections, incident investigation, and providing assistance as needed. The position requires flexibility to work any night, including weekends and holidays, and involves interacting with guests, team members, and owners in a professional manner. • Perform periodic and random inspections of the building and grounds to protect property from theft, embezzlement, vandalism, fire, and accidents • Maintain inspection reports and records, advise management of deficiencies, and recommend remedial or disciplinary actions • Investigate security incidents, accidents, suspicious activities, safety and fire hazards, and prepare comprehensive reports with statements from involved parties and witnesses • Provide assistance to team members, guests, and owners in accordance with department and company guidelines • Deliver outstanding guest/owner service, including answering inquiries, directing traffic, providing directions, delivering packages, and general problem‑solving • Patrol the interior and perimeter of the resort to identify potential security and safety risks or undesirable conditions • Carry out reasonable requests of management

What You Bring
Candidates must be able to patrol the property for extended periods, greet guests courteously, and possess strong computer, verbal, and written skills for incident reporting. Preferred qualifications include prior security experience in hospitality, a military or law‑enforcement background, and current First Aid/CPR certification. • Perform basic first aid and CPR as needed • Ability to patrol the property for 8‑9 hours at a time • Ability to greet and interact with guests in a friendly and effective manner • Full and open availability to work any shift, including weekends and holidays • Previous computer experience and excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills for incident reporting • Prior security experience in the hotel/hospitality industry (preferred) • Military or law‑enforcement background (preferred) • Current First Aid/CPR certifications (preferred)
