About the Role
• Assist with staging materials onsite when required. • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe vehicle at all times. • Follow all jobsite safety protocols and maintain awareness of site conditions. • Verify materials against delivery tickets, purchase orders, and loading documents. • Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies. • Maintain accurate documentation for all materials loaded and delivered. • Identify and address challenges such as missing materials, jobsite access issues, or discrepancies. • Represent the company with a positive, friendly, and service-focused attitude. • Safely and securely load materials to prevent shifting or damage during transport. • Unload materials safely using approved equipment and proper lifting techniques. • Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors. • Provide updates on delivery progress, delays, or issues encountered. • Communicate with site supervisors or customers upon arrival and completion of each delivery. • Use appropriate load-securement techniques and safety equipment. • Report maintenance needs or safety concerns promptly. • Inspect materials for accuracy, damage, and completeness before loading. • Deliver materials to designated jobsites and customer locations in a timely and professional manner. • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the delivery vehicle.

What You Bring
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time. • Flexibility to work extended hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed. • Ability to pass a Fit for Duty Screening • Familiarity with operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment. • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory and documentation. • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. • Proven experience with material handling, loading equipment, or construction materials is a plus • Wear required PPE at all times on job sites. • Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with colleagues and communicate effectively with other departments. • Maintain consistent reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic. • Adapt quickly to changing schedules, routes, or delivery demands as needed. • Be available for out-of-town travel on short notice, including occasional overnight stays. • Demonstrate strong initiative and resourcefulness when resolving issues. • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required. • High school diploma or equivalent • Must have a valid Class D driver's license and the ability to pass a motor vehicle report screening.
