About the Role
The manager provides day‑to‑day oversight of five first‑level leaders and their teams, coordinating resource prioritization, budget, and schedule to ensure all deliverables are met. Administrative responsibilities include performance ratings, merit planning, career development, training, and handling disciplinary actions. The position also serves as a liaison between the department, customers, and NASA management. • Lead, manage, and supervise three Technical Area Leads (NASA) and five first‑level leaders. • Develop and maintain professional relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and direct reports. • Manage budget, staffing, and personnel performance to meet all task order requirements. • Report contract budget and employee performance status regularly to NASA division and office management. • Implement process improvements that benefit the program and customer. • Develop and execute strategies for customer and company success. • Plan, prioritize, and coordinate tasks while resolving contractor‑customer issues. • Recruit, interview, and handle personnel matters including performance ratings, merit planning, career development, and disciplinary actions. • Manage manpower, priorities, and customer requirements; adapt quickly to change.

What You Bring
KBR seeks candidates with demonstrated leadership, strong verbal and written communication, and the ability to plan, prioritize, and resolve issues in a fast‑paced contractor‑customer environment. A solid understanding of the Flight Operations Directorate’s Plan/Train/Fly concepts and experience contributing to technical tasks for IMOC III are essential. The role requires recruiting experience, aptitude for managing manpower and customer requirements, and flexibility to adapt to change. A bachelor’s degree and at least fifteen years of progressive management experience are required. • Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and conflict‑resolution skills in a fast‑paced environment. • Understand FOD mission and Plan/Train/Fly concepts; contribute to technical tasks supporting IMOC III. • Hold a bachelor’s degree and at least 15 years of progressive management experience. • Experience with the IMOC III Management Information System is desired.
