About the Role
As a Recruiter at Knight Electric, you will support the Talent Acquisition Manager by executing recruitment strategies and overseeing the full-cycle hiring process for a variety of roles. You will collaborate with hiring managers to source, attract, and engage top talent while ensuring a positive candidate experience. The role requires a proactive, detail‑oriented individual who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is passionate about building strong talent pipelines. • Partner with the Talent Acquisition Manager and hiring managers to define labor needs and job requirements. • Oversee full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating offers. • Apply creative sourcing methods such as job boards, social media, networking, and hiring events. • Maintain accurate candidate records in the ATS and ensure compliance. • Draft and post job descriptions on platforms like LinkedIn, Indeed, and ZipRecruiter. • Build and sustain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs. • Assist with onboarding to facilitate smooth new‑hire transitions. • Provide timely communication and feedback to candidates throughout the process. • Support employer branding initiatives to promote Knight Electric as an employer of choice. • Act as a self‑starter with a proactive approach to problem‑solving.

What You Bring
Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (preferred) and possess at least five years of recruiting or talent‑acquisition experience, specifically within the electrical skilled‑trades sector. Familiarity with applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, and sourcing passive candidates is required, along with excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field (preferred). • Boast 5+ years of recruiting or talent‑acquisition experience, especially in electrical skilled‑trades. • Demonstrate proficiency with ATS systems and LinkedIn Recruiter. • Exhibit strong sourcing skills to attract passive candidates. • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. • Be highly organized, detail‑oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
