About the Role
In this role you will develop concepts to improve system performance, create climate‑aware scenarios, design asset renewal strategies, assess options, produce technical reports, cultivate client relationships, and manage project quality, cost and schedules. • Develop concepts to address system performance deficiencies and growth servicing plans. • Create climate‑change, water‑efficiency and IWCM scenario analyses. • Formulate asset class renewal strategies and long‑term plans. • Conduct option assessments and prepare business case justifications. • Produce technical reports and documentation. • Build and maintain relationships with strategic clients, expanding the project portfolio. • Manage project quality, cost, and schedule throughout delivery. • Lead network planning and strategy initiatives. • Apply strategic water planning and modelling expertise. • Utilize InfoWorks WS Pro, ICM and GIS software.

What You Bring
We are seeking a Senior Network Planning Engineer with project management, design and planning experience in water infrastructure to join our Melbourne office. GHD offers a diverse portfolio of projects across the Victorian water sector, a collaborative professional team, and the flexibility to work full‑time or part‑time in a supportive environment. The ideal candidate has 5‑8 years of network planning experience on water infrastructure projects, strong strategic planning and modelling skills, and proficiency with InfoWorks WS Pro, ICM and GIS software. Proven project and client relationship management abilities are essential, and RPEV (Civil) registration or progress toward registration is required. • Provide 5–8 years of network planning experience on water infrastructure projects. • Demonstrate project and client relationship management skills. • Hold RPEV (Civil) registration or be in the process of registering.
