About the Role
As a Bridge Coordinator/EIT you will apply structural engineering and detailing techniques to bridge designs, work on steel plate girder, prestressed concrete, segmental and cable bridge projects, and develop structural details using specialized software. Responsibilities also include seismic analysis, bridge inspections, load calculations, geometric layout, quantity development, and other duties as needed. • Apply structural engineering and detailing techniques in bridge design development. • Work on steel plate girder, prestressed concrete, segmental, cable bridge, box culvert, and interchange projects for highways and railways. • Select standard bridge engineering procedures and develop structural details using specialized software. • Perform linear and non‑linear seismic structural analysis for California bridges. • Participate in bridge inspections, conduct load calculations, and assist with geometric layout and quantity take‑offs.

What You Bring
• Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. • Engineer in Training (EIT) certification (or willingness to obtain EIT while in Design Coordinator role). • Experience with bridge/structural design and familiarity with software such as LEAP Bridge Enterprise, FB‑MultiPier, LPile, AASHTOWare BrR, midas Civil, MDX, SAP2000, CSiBridge, ADINA, RM Bridge, spColumn, LUSAS, STLBridgeLRFD, STLBridge, MS Office, MathCAD, AutoCAD, LARSA, and Prestressed Concrete design. • Knowledge of finite element programs (e.g., CSi, Midas, LARSA) and exposure to MicroStation. • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field. • Proficiency with Bluebeam Revu and engineering software such as LEAP Bridge Enterprise, FB‑MultiPier, LPile, AASHTOWare BrR, midas Civil, CSiBridge, RM Bridge, spColumn, STLBridgeLRFD, or STLBridge. • Experience with Bentley OpenBridge Modeler and/or Autodesk InfraWorks and Civil 3D. • Hands‑on expertise in computer‑based structural layout and design. • Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation.
