What You Bring
We are seeking a Civil/Geotechnical Intern – Tailings and Mine Waste for our Denver, Colorado office to support the Mining and Tailings practice in the southwest United States. The internship, beginning in May/June 2026, provides hands‑on experience on engineering, design, and infrastructure projects that have real‑world impact. Interns work with cutting‑edge technology, learn industry best practices, and collaborate with experienced professionals while developing both technical and professional skills. Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mining Engineering, or a related field with at least three years of coursework completed, or be recent graduates planning to continue with a Master’s degree. A valid U.S. driver’s license is required for site visits and client interactions. Preferred qualifications include interest or experience in civil, geotechnical, hydrology, or hydraulic engineering and proficiency with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and Geostudio. • Pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Mining Engineering (minimum three years completed) or be a recent graduate planning a Master’s. • Maintain a valid U.S. driver’s license for travel to project sites. • Demonstrate interest or experience in civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, hydrology, or hydraulics. • Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Word, Excel, and Geostudio (preferred).
