About the Role
The position is accountable for delivering the system building services engineering—including mechanical, electrical, ventilation and specialist systems—while liaising with the client, main contractor and consultants. It also involves package‑managing multiple sub‑contractors, sub‑sub‑contractors and suppliers from a system engineering perspective. • Safety First – ensure everyone goes home safe and well • Deliver project work collaboratively within the team • Analyse, rectify and manage completion of MEP design using engineering and management processes • Coordinate and liaise with sub‑contractors, sub‑sub‑contractors and suppliers • Manage interfaces between different packages • Develop relationships with key stakeholders such as client, design and construction teams • Identify risks and implement mitigation plans • Integrate modern construction methods, digital technologies and prefabrication • Apply Mace’s standards and project strategies • Support net‑zero carbon transition by proactively managing carbon emissions

What You Bring
• Completed trade/technical apprenticeship or equivalent • Relevant BTech/HNC qualification • Valid CSCS card • SMSTS health and safety training • Proficient knowledge of an engineering specialism (e.g., mechanical) including installation, best practice, prefabrication and commissioning • Basic understanding of digital engineering technologies or prefabrication (C2P)
