About the Role
Parsons is seeking a Site Supervisor to join a complex infrastructure project in Dublin. The role provides site‑based oversight throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant delivery of construction and commissioning activities while upholding high standards of quality, safety, and stakeholder engagement. The Site Supervisor will manage construction activities from planning through completion, enforce a strong safety culture, develop and monitor detailed project schedules, and coordinate with contractors to optimise resources and meet contract specifications. They will also implement quality‑assurance processes, conduct site inspections, maintain clear communication with stakeholders, identify risks and propose mitigation, and carry out any additional duties assigned. • Oversee construction activities from planning through completion. • Conduct regular safety tours, meetings, and address safety concerns promptly. • Develop detailed project schedules, set milestones, and track progress. • Coordinate with contractors to optimise resource allocation and ensure contract compliance. • Implement and manage quality‑assurance and inspection processes. • Perform site inspections and assess contractor performance under the Inspection and Test Plan. • Maintain clear communication with stakeholders, providing updates on progress, risks, and resolutions. • Identify project risks, propose mitigation strategies, and deliver cost‑effective solutions.

What You Bring
Candidates should have 5–10+ years of construction experience, including at least three years in engineering and management on large‑scale multidisciplinary railway or infrastructure projects, and hold a Level 6/7 (NFQ) or equivalent qualification in engineering, construction, or project management. In‑depth knowledge of safety, health and welfare regulations, practical experience with health, safety, environmental and quality management, familiarity with NEC4 contracts, and strong commercial awareness are also required. Preferred candidates demonstrate strong leadership and team‑management abilities, excellent communication across all stakeholders, and proven expertise in developing comprehensive project plans, schedules, and risk‑mitigation strategies. Additional professional qualifications, such as MCIOB or MICE membership, and expertise in railway construction processes and quality assurance are advantageous. • Bring 5–10+ years of construction experience, including 3+ years in engineering and management on large railway or infrastructure projects. • Hold a Level 6/7 (NFQ) or equivalent degree in engineering, construction, or project management. • Possess in‑depth knowledge of construction safety, health, and welfare regulations (e.g., Construction (Amendment) Regulations 2020). • Experience with NEC4 contracts and strong commercial awareness. • Demonstrate leadership, team‑management, and effective communication across all project stakeholders. • Ability to develop and execute comprehensive project plans, schedules, and risk‑mitigation strategies. • Professional qualifications such as MCIOB or MICE membership are advantageous.
