About the Role
The building cleaning worker role involves maintaining commercial and institutional premises in a clean and orderly condition. Responsibilities include cleaning various interior spaces, performing floor care, minor repairs, and supporting facility upkeep. The position requires a high school diploma or GED and less than one year of relevant experience. • Clean offices, bathrooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas. • Wet‑ or dry‑mop floors, shampoo rugs, wash walls and glass, remove rubbish, pressure wash, and remove gum and graffiti. • Perform minor repairs, painting, carpentry, replenish bathroom supplies, and handle landscaping and snow removal. • Sweep, scrub, wax, and polish floors, lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim. • Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies; dust furniture and equipment. • Replace light bulbs and transport small equipment or tools between departments. • Set up tables and chairs in auditoriums, meeting rooms, or halls.

What You Bring
