About the Role
Reporting to the Managing Partner, the Director of Workplace Solutions develops and manages client relationships while leading a team that delivers workplace services including drawing and occupancy management, space planning, move management, interior design, workplace strategy, and change management. The role ensures service delivery meets contractual obligations and success metrics, and it drives business growth within existing and future accounts. The position requires working across multiple client locations in the Greater Toronto Area and BGIS offices, providing effective support to both clients and team members. It involves collaborating with internal subject‑matter experts and coordinating sales strategies such as business case development, proposal writing, pricing, and negotiation. • Manage and expand client relationships to achieve high satisfaction and referral likelihood. • Lead a multidisciplinary workplace solutions team delivering space planning, move management, interior design, and change management services. • Develop and execute sales strategies, including business case creation, proposal development, pricing, and contract negotiations. • Allocate resources, monitor schedules and budgets, and ensure project profitability and on‑time delivery. • Create service and fee proposals, negotiate scope and fees, and identify opportunities for additional client solutions. • Implement consistent processes for document, change, scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk, and compliance management. • Facilitate effective communication with clients, contractors, and industry bodies to resolve escalated issues. • Cultivate a network of contacts to generate new business and maintain ongoing client engagements.

What You Bring
• Hold a university degree; MCR designation is an asset, with approximately 10 years of relevant industry experience. • Demonstrate strong analytical, financial reporting, and budget/cost management capabilities. • Proficient in Excel, AutoCAD, MS Project, PowerPoint, and related software tools. • Exhibit effective people management, consultative discovery, and distributed team leadership skills. • Possess excellent verbal and written communication, influencing, organizational, and documentation abilities. • Proactive, driven, and capable of delivering innovative solutions to complex workplace challenges.

Benefits
This is a full‑time, regular position with a salary range of $108,068 – $135,085 per annum, based on the candidate’s experience, education, and performance. Artificial intelligence may be used in screening stages, but final hiring decisions are made by human reviewers.
