About the Role
The Calibration Specialist inspects, maintains, and repairs instruments and equipment to ensure proper calibration and accurate onsite measurements at customer testing labs. In addition to servicing equipment, the specialist builds strong customer relationships through ongoing communication and support throughout the year. Essential duties include performing full service on customer equipment, communicating professionally with co‑workers, manufacturers and customers, assisting customers with troubleshooting, maintenance and equipment procurement, completing supervised and independent training on calibration and quality procedures, and delivering accurate measurements for client requests. • Perform full service inspections, maintenance, and repairs on customer equipment. • Communicate professionally with co‑workers, manufacturers, and customers regarding assigned jobs. • Assist customers with troubleshooting and maintenance beyond assigned tasks. • Support customers in equipment procurement as needed. • Complete supervised and independent training on calibration and quality procedures. • Provide accurate onsite measurements for client requests. • Travel to job sites up to 90% of the time and work in various environments. • Deliver strong interpersonal and customer service support. • Participate in 401(k) matching and bonus eligibility programs.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a high school diploma or equivalent, possess basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), and be able to travel to jobsites up to 90% of the time. Preferred experience is 2‑5 years in a related field, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team, occasional weekend availability, and strong verbal, written, interpersonal and time‑management skills. • Hold a high school diploma or equivalent. • Demonstrate basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). • Possess 2–5 years of related experience (preferred). • Work independently and collaboratively within a team. • Be available for occasional weekend work per customer demand. • Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Manage time effectively to meet deadlines and solve unforeseen problems.
