About the Role
• Manage and supervise assigned staff, coordinating scope, schedule, quality, and budget. • Develop work plans and man‑hour budgets for manager approval. • Monitor project schedules and capital costs to meet client expectations and control productivity. • Prepare advanced engineering designs and technical data ensuring accuracy. • Lead quality control/assurance processes on all projects. • Achieve profit, productivity, and delivery targets while overseeing work productivity. • Support proposal development and business development activities. • Define project teams, work packages, tasks, evaluation methods, and resource needs. • Conduct team meetings and enforce review and approval procedures. • Negotiate scope changes with clients, subject to supervisor approval. • Coordinate communication among project team members to maintain high utilization. • Ensure compliance with project planning, profit control, and scope revision processes. • Seek assistance from department managers to resolve technical issues. • Mentor junior staff in technical and business practices. • Adhere to health and safety programs and standard operating procedures.

What You Bring
• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Surveying Technology, Civil Engineering Technology, or a related field. • Bring 10+ years of land surveying experience. • Preferably hold a NY State Professional Land Surveyor license. • Demonstrate ability to generate revenue through existing clients and new business development. • Communicate effectively in written and spoken English.
