About the Role

The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will lead continuous‑improvement initiatives using Agile, Six Sigma and Lean methods, interpret engineering drawings into manufacturing processes, and create clear, compliant work instructions. They will identify opportunities to enhance manufacturability, reduce cost and improve reliability, and present data‑driven recommendations for productivity gains. • Drive continuous improvement through Agile, Six Sigma, and Lean initiatives. • Translate engineering drawings into manufacturable processes. • Develop compliant work instructions for production. • Identify and implement ways to improve manufacturability, reduce costs, and increase reliability. • Create presentations that highlight productivity and cost‑saving opportunities. • Utilize Solumina for authoring and editing process plans. • Apply expert skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, for data analysis and reporting. • Employ 5S, TPM, and RCCA methodologies to reduce non‑conformance. • Manage multiple work streams and track task completion daily.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience and possess solid knowledge of manufacturing operations, continuous improvement and Lean Six Sigma. Familiarity with Solumina, expert proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), and strong communication, teamwork and project‑management skills are required. Additional expertise in 5S, TPM, RCCA, routers, and data visualization for manufacturing is preferred. • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Benefits

The position offers a salary range of $95,000‑$115,000 and is a first‑shift, on‑site role in Windsor Locks, CT. U.S. citizenship is required, and the employee must have personal transportation for the commute. No travel is expected.
