About the Role

What You Bring
A Driver Trainee at Republic Services will undergo a comprehensive training program to obtain a commercial driver’s license (CDL). Upon successful completion, the trainee will transition into a full‑time driver role within one of the company’s lines of business, such as Residential, Commercial, Industrial, or Roll‑Off. The role requires completing Republic Services’ CDL training, which includes classroom study, on‑route training, and hands‑on truck operation, followed by twelve months of employment after licensure. Trainees will learn to conduct thorough pre‑ and post‑operation vehicle inspections, safely operate a commercial truck, load and compact waste, and monitor waste quality while adhering to company safety policies. • After obtaining CDL, serve as a driver in residential, commercial, industrial, or roll‑off operations
