About the Role
The Routing and Logistics Expert researches, develops, and implements routing and logistics plans to improve productivity, safety, and reduce costs. This role communicates route changes to key personnel, provides training and transition tools, and monitors activity during implementation. The position requires travel throughout the Southern California market area, including overnight stays that can range from a few days to several weeks, and follows standard business hours with occasional holiday and Saturday work. Key responsibilities include designing and redesigning routing and logistics solutions by collecting, verifying, and analyzing data on existing routes, vehicles, disposal facilities, and productivity. The expert assists in creating policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure quality and cost control, and implements plans to optimize transportation operations. Ongoing monitoring and analysis of productivity results are also required. • Travel throughout Southern California market area with overnight stays ranging from days to weeks. • Design and redesign routing and logistics solutions using data analysis. • Develop policies, guidelines, and procedures for quality and cost control. • Communicate route changes and provide training and transition tools. • Monitor activity and productivity during implementation of optimized routes.

Required qualifications are an associate’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field, or a high school diploma/GED with at least two years of relevant experience. The expected base pay range for this hybrid position is $77,970–$90,000, with potential incentive pay depending on experience, education, certifications, and location.
